Дальше всё здесь по АНГЛИЙСКИ. —| Well, this Chris Myrski surely is the same Христо Мирский, as also Христо Мирски, you bet it. But having posted here more than 50 things, because I divide the books in parts in order not to have much more than 100 KB (otherwise my books are not more than 15 in one language, I am not like, say, Simenon, you know), and having also the choice to use pseudonyms, I decided to make here a new entry for the same author. With the exception of some queer specimen I will suppose that here look and copy things people from abroad CIS, but some from there and wanting to have good stuff for parallel reading are also welcome (not because my English leaves nothing to be desired, but because the things here are interesting enough to be used for practicing of the English as foreign language). —| So, and after these preliminaries let me put here also some words about the author. I was born and live in Bulgaria (which is, by the way, one very poor area, I’ll tell you), have studied for a long time and have 2 and a half tertiary educations received in 3 different countries, namely: one for Engineer in Electronic Technology in LETI, Saint Petersburg, Russia, one in Sofia University “Kliment Ohridski”, Bulgaria, in Mathematics and Informatics, and a half in Jahannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria (as beginning of PhD, until the funding ceased). —| I have worked in various scientific institutions, in Sofia University, in Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, but all this in totalitarian years. I have never been (or wished to be) member of Bulgarian Communist Party. —| Left with the arrival of democracy without permanent job, being used to think, and seeing the mass democratic “cretinization” of Bulgarian population, I was just forced to occupy myself with some intellectual work, so that it is not to wonder that I have begun, by the by, to write several popular books. —| To the moment of my 60th anniversary I use, in addition to my Bulgarian, also three foreign languages (Russian, English, German), and am learning in my old age Italian (per il mio diletto). —| I have written more than a dozen books, they are generally serious, but in fact various. There are many publicistical pieces, critique of democracy in several forms (I suppose to be the biggest, maybe in the world, representative of, as I call it, demo-critical realism), views to life in general, important social problems, etymological researches in sundry forms, all this popularly (though scientifically enough) written, social science fiction, and poetry (in Bulgarian, Russian, English). I intend to translate everything in English, even the tedious and old publicistics, because exactly the latter are relatively small and suitable for reading in Internet (and they don’t get much old for I am looking at the matters philosophically, observe typical situations, not concrete persons, parties, or events), for the reason that I am not much read in Bulgarian, but in Russian I have some readers, and expect to have even more in English. —| Well, I work mainly for my pleasure and in this case is hardly to expect to win by my writings, so that I am interested only in -- ha, ha, -- obtaining of literary immortality, but, still, some 50 or so dollars per month would be well received (for I am not on pension, and don’t work, and there is that economical crisis for a long time now), so that if someone thinks I deserve some small fee (5 – 10 dollars in an envelope through the post) and can afford this, then let him (her) write me (chris_myrski on yahoo) to tell him the address. There are also all my works in good form for printing on paper (in horizontal A4 in 2 pseudo columns like pages, with splitting of the words) and binding in spiral, so that to obtain such copy one has to pay me something, and reading of serious things is preferable to do from a book, not on a small screen. In short: your help is welcome but not required. —| And now, pleasant reading of this myrski-world author, who is maximally independent, objective, and unprejudiced. —|
