2.1. The Website operates strictly as a non-commercial, free-of-charge hosting and self-publishing platform. 2.2. The services provided include, but are not limited to: tools for converting text documents into e-book formats, hosting and publishing digital literary works, downloading files for personal reading, and allowing users to leave reviews and comments (collectively, the "Services"). 2.3. No Financial Transactions: Authors may upload and publish their works solely on a free-of-charge basis for readers. The platform does not facilitate sales, subscriptions, paid downloads, or any other commercial monetization.
3. USER ACCOUNTS & REGISTRATION
3.1. Registration Process: Users can create an account by completing the registration form on the Website or by authenticating through supported third-party social log-ins (e.g., Google, Yandex, VK, etc.). 3.2. Accuracy of Data: You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during the registration process and to update it promptly if changes occur. 3.3. 4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONTENT LICENSING
4.1. Author Content Ownership: Authors retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to the literary works and texts they upload to the Platform. 4.3. Grant of License: By uploading and publishing content on the Website, the Author grants the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, display, digitally format, convert, and make the content available to the public for streaming or downloading, solely for the purpose of operating the free platform. This license terminates when the Author deletes their work or account from the Platform. 4.4. Warranties by the Author: The Author guarantees that they possess all necessary copyrights, distribution rights, and permissions for the uploaded material. The Author warrants that the content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, trademarks, or personal privacy rights.
5. CONTENT MODERATION & ACCEPTABLE USE (EU DIGITAL SERVICES ACT COMPLIANCE)
5.1. Prohibited Content: Users are strictly prohibited from uploading, posting, transmitting, or distributing content that:
Infringes third-party copyrights, trademarks, or patents (piracy).
Contains hate speech, promotes violence, racism, discrimination, xenophobia, or religious intolerance.
Contains pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene material, particularly any involving minors.
Promotes or instructs on criminal activities, terrorism, suicide, self-harm, or illegal substance usage.
Defames, insults, harasses, stalks, or violates the privacy and data protection rights of other users or third parties.
Contains malicious software, viruses, Trojans, or unauthorized commercial spam/advertising. 5.2. Notice and Action Mechanism: In accordance with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), the Operator acts as a hosting intermediary. However, once we receive a valid notice regarding illegal content or copyright infringement, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the content. 5.3. 6. STATUTORY WARRANTY & DISCLAIMER ("AS IS")
6.1. Platform Availability: The Services, content, and layout of the Website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to maintain high availability and fix errors promptly, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure platform operations. 6.2. No Content Guarantee: The Operator does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for the accuracy, literary merit, quality, or lawfulness of user-uploaded materials. 7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (EU STANDARD)
