## Description

Enter a magical Athenian forest where the Duke, Theseus, prepares for his wedding to Hippolyta. Amidst these grand plans, young Hermia is faced with a stark choice: marry Demetrius, her father’s chosen suitor, or face death or a convent, for her heart belongs to Lysander. Fleeing into the woods with Lysander, they are pursued by Demetrius, who is himself loved by the despairing Helena.

Unbeknownst to these confused lovers, the forest is also home to the quarrelsome King and Queen of the Fairies, Oberon and Titania, and their mischievous sprite, Puck. Oberon, seeking revenge on Titania, instructs Puck to use a potent love potion, leading to a series of hilarious and bewildering mix-ups among the human lovers. Meanwhile, a group of bumbling amateur actors, rehearsing a play for the Duke’s wedding, find themselves entangled in the fairies' magic. As dawn breaks, love is restored, and the interwoven tales culminate in a joyous triple wedding, leaving all to wonder if the night's events were merely a dream.
