# Marshall King

## Biography

Marshall King is a writer and journalist based in Goshen, Indiana, with over three decades of experience chronicling the Midwest’s food, people, and places. He spent twenty years at The Elkhart Truth, serving as a reporter, columnist, and editor, notably writing the long-running "Dining A La King" food column. Since 2016, King has worked as a freelance writer for numerous publications, including the Goshen News and South Bend Tribune. He is also the director of communications for the Community Foundation of Elkhart County, where he focuses on compelling narratives. In 2022, King published "Disarmed: The Radical Life and Legacy of MJ Sharp," a biography detailing the life of a UN peacekeeper. He also contributes to a Substack and teaches as an adjunct professor of communication at Goshen College.
