## Biography

Thomas Hoover is an American author known for his expansive body of work encompassing historical novels and contemporary thrillers. Born in the United States, he holds a doctorate in oceanography and a Ph.D. in Chemistry, in addition to having served as a senior vice president for an architect-engineering firm in New York. Hoover embarked on his writing career with non-fiction books exploring Far Eastern art and religion, including "Zen Culture" and "The Zen Experience." He later delved into fiction, crafting acclaimed historical narratives such as "The Moghul" and "Caribbee," alongside techno-thrillers and medical thrillers like "Project Daedalus" and "Syndrome." Beyond his literary pursuits, Hoover is also an avid sailor and a recognized collector of classical Indian music, interests that occasionally inform his diverse storytelling.
