# Harry Hazelton

## Biography

Harry Joseph Hazelton was born in Northampton, Massachusetts, on May 30, 1999. Diagnosed with autism at an early age, he has diligently worked to overcome challenges associated with his disability. He graduated cum laude from Marist College in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, concentrating in writing, and minoring in graphic design and Spanish. During his time at Marist, Hazelton was actively involved in various literary and academic pursuits, including working as a Writing Center tutor and serving on the board of the Delta Alpha Pi honors society. He also founded Marist Wild Card Publications. An avid baseball fan, his creative writing has been inspired by authors like Ernest Hemingway and Kurt Vonnegut. Currently based in Philadelphia, he works as a substitute teacher and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Education at La Salle University, starting in the fall of 2026.
